You weren't there just to document my journey, you also comforted me and supported me in times of need. My biggest concern about having a birth photographer was that it might be irritating having someone flash a camera in my face while I'm giving birth. To be honest, I don't think I noticed you once! You did an amazing job. I'll forever cherish the photos. You captured every bit of emotion and it all comes flooding back every time I look at them. I really enjoyed my pregnancy so I wanted to capture that moment in time, even though I'm not usually comfortable with my photo being taken. So I contacted Tanya and we met up at a local park for a maternity shoot. Tanya's expert guidance and instruction put me at ease, and by the end of the session, I actually felt like a model. I was so impressed with the shots that I booked in for some newborn photos of Heath. I was amazed by the creative positions Tanya got him into with her patience and tender touch. My wife and I engaged Tanya for birth photography for our first child. Initially I was concerned that having a “stranger” in the room during labour would detract from the experience. We met with Tanya numerous times in the lead up to the big day and I soon realized that my concerns were unfounded. Tanya was respectful and professional and nothing seemed too much for her. Tanya was also very thorough to ensure that she understood what it was we wanted from her.Come the day of the labour and I was glad that Tanya was there; she gave me the confidence to be the birth partner my wife needed, at the same time you could forget she was in the room. We have some amazing photos that really captured the whole experience- the good times and the bad, I am/we are truly thankful for everything that she did for the three of us.I would definitely recommend Tanya from the Birth Partners perspective, as does my wife from the Birth Mother’s perspective.
