Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta Encapsulation is the practice of drying the placenta (either after steaming it or from a raw state), grinding it and placing it into capsules for ingestion.

Ingesting the placenta has been said to help increase milk supply and iron levels after giving birth. It is also been claimed that ingesting placenta capsules can help reduce the likelihood of post natal depression and anxiety that may be experienced after birth.
